Emily Mifflin

Emily Mifflin is an up-and-coming IP Paralegal, who is focused and determined on refining her knowledge of trademark law. Her areas of expertise are logo design, trademark prosecution, and post-registration management. She assists attorneys and clients in their pursuit to register trademarks both in the United States and internationally, with a special interest in the Asia-Pacific region. She also has experience in assisting attorneys and clients in business formation and corporate litigation.

Emily graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science, with a minor in Law, Politics, and Society. There, her studies were concentrated in international politics, national security, and philosophy. She was also an Editor for the Daily Titan Newspaper from 2018 to 2019 as a Layout and Opinion Editor. She is currently attending the University of California, Berkeley in pursuit of a Certificate in Paralegal Studies.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Emily dedicated her time supporting local businesses and startups in industries such as food service, supplement manufacturing and distribution, automotive sales, and automotive part manufacturing in the Los Angeles area. She has helped businesses network with manufacturers and contractors, and has facilitated the launch of websites, advertising campaigns, and profiles on E-Commerce platforms. Starting a new business requires one to constantly adapt to market changes, and Emily enjoys the challenge of supporting businesses by learning how to secure intellectual property, create marketing strategies, and navigate supply-chain logistics.

When she isn’t at the office, Emily is cruising through the San Gabriel Mountains in her trusty Honda Element, rock climbing, or enjoying California State Parks.
